
Erika Chamberlain (BA (Art History) PGDipMuseumStudies) Director and Art Specialist
has more than two decades of auction and valuation industry experience. She has a complete knowledge of valuation methodology and institutional valuation practice and is formally trained in preventative conservation, New Zealand heritage legislation and collection management.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Art History under her belt she joined Webb’s as Assistant to the Decorative Arts Department in 2001, a role which served as a training ground across the antique and decorative arts fields. Concurrently, Erika completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Museum Studies from Massey University. As Head of Department, Valuations from 2006-2009 she provided hundreds of valuations to a range of clients including many of the large institutional collections.

Josh Williams (BA (History/English) PGCertMuseumStudies) Director and Antiques Specialist Josh is a generalist valuer and skilled auctioneer. His previous role was Auction Specialist in the Decorative Arts Department at Webb’s Auctions. In his nine years there he managed and curated the prestigious antique auctions and established New Zealand's most successful mid-century furniture auctions. Josh's earlier career highlights include time working at the Auckland War Memorial Museum (Maori Galleries), the Victoria & Albert Museum (British Galleries), specialist Georgian antique shop 'Townhouse' in Spitalfields and antique dealing at Portobello Market.
Using this rich and varied experience they have now established their own company to provide a dedicated independent valuation service to private individuals, insurance companies, lawyers and anyone with heritage assets across the North Island and beyond.
