New Shop Branding Coming Soon...

We are in the process of adding some branding to the shop part of our business to discern it from the valuation side. 
Our shop will be called "Fare Thee Well Antiques" and you can find us at 136 Whitaker Street, Te Aroha. 
The instagram handle is @fare_thee_well_ 
The website will be going live over the next few months, once we have taken some photos and organised them.  We thought we would give some fair warning to lessen any confusion.

Tongue of the Dog Restored to Former Glory

The Michael Parekowhai 'Tongue of the Dog' sculpture outside Te Whare Taonga o Waikato Museum has lived a life since it was installed by the Mesh Sculpture Hamilton in 2016.  General wear and tear in a high traffic environment and the recent red paint incident had left it looking miserable.  The good news is that it is back to its former glory with a fantastic restoration in line with the refurbishment of the museum building it stands next to.  Before and after photos all taken by me over the last few months.

Te Whare Taonga o Waikato Museum & Gallery Re-Opens After Refresh

The Waikato Museum has now re-opened to the public.  Rebranded as Te Whare Taonga o Waikato Museum & Gallery the entrance and insides are looking flash!  A great place to visit on your holiday road trip.

We were lucky enough to see the Lisa Reihana work 'Glisten' on the rooftop of the National Gallery of Singapore over the Christmas break.  Here are some of our photographs of the work.
